Black Friday result!

Been after a wood turning lathe for some time and watched a nice clean and tidy 11 year old one on fleabay within sensible distance get to within fifty quid of the latest version with a three year warranty!
Yesterday £90 was knocked off the new price!

How can a 11 year old wood lathe still have a 3 year warranty? the warranty expired when it was bought new 11 years ago.

night night, it'll make sense once you've had a rest but one last time, an 11 year old lathe fetched £50 pounds less on Ebay than he could have bought a new one with a three year warranty for, yesterday he bought the new one with the 3 year warranty at £90 pounds off the list price as a Black friday deal, try to keep up

So he bought a 90 year old lathe with an 11 year warranty for 50 quid less than the price of a new one. Damn you Black Friday Was it a present for the bunny ? Ours is happy with an occasional carrot.

It made sense to me too initially but now I'm confused
