Just thought I would sling up a couple of pics from a while ago when I repaired a rusty section of chassis rail on my car
There was lamination where one section is sat against another, this is after prying it a little with a lever

Cut away a section of the overlapping piece

Then cut out the next section

Made a new section

Beginning to weld it in


Made a new section for the next part (this took a few hours to hand make from 2mm)

Working against gravity

That was it for the drivers side, this is the passenger side - same script
