No it's just a cheap helmet to practice on ,as it's all water based and not solvent,you could wear it,

Looks good. I was always under the impression that you can paint fibreglass helmets but not plastic ones.

I don't think "simpson" helmets are bsi approved nor do they have the ACU gold sticker .

Water base paint isn't solvent ,so it doesn't penetrated plastic,

My aunt painted a design onto one of my helmets many years ago and I remember doing research (in pre-interweb days) to find out which type of paint to use safely.

Clear coat goes on top of water base paint,so you have a barrier there
