Big singel phase mig

at one point I was hopeing to get a 3 phase supply but its just not viable until now I've been running a 3ph mig on a 3ph diesel generator. it's looking like the generator has just handed it's notice in, is still running for the moment but the engine is terminal.

so here comes the stupid question.

any company make a big single phase mig ? and can anyone recommend any particular ones ?
i'm looking for 300+ amps and idealy with a remote wire feed.

i have 2 migatronics 300a 60% @ the time i bought them they were the biggest /highest duty cycle available -very pleased.

i think portamig do a 405amp machine too which from what ive heard is awesome

good duty cycle would be a major factor

ummm 405 amps single phase the meter is going to hate me but I could throw some wire down with that

I have a 1980s single-phase Oxford 300 that can run 225A at 100% duty cycle; flat-out it takes 60A
