The company and their [lack of] reply or the idea Andy?load of ba**s lol
everyone likes the down trodden underdog on a tv programmeI've had a reply too - not word for word but ultimately asking the same thing - for a phonecall to discuss further. We'll see what comes of it.
Pedrobedro - the original request was looking to recruit the "Fix Team" rather than the people with the problems.

Hi Rich,
Thank you very much for getting in touch, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Big Life Fix is a programme that we are developing with a major broadcaster that aims to use science & technology to improve the lives of families across Britain.
The idea is that we take an individual or family facing some sort of problem or obstacle in their lives. It could be that they live with a disability and are unable to do the things that they love, due to a lack of accessibility. Or it could be that a family has some sort of day-to-day difficulty affecting them that could be addressed using engineering/technology. The “Fix Team”, made up of talented designers, makers, technologists and other specialists, brainstorm and create something to help them fulfil whatever goal or ambition it is that they want to achieve.
We are hoping to get the green light to move ahead into production in the coming weeks, so we thought that now would be a great time to reach out and make connections with the sorts of people who might be able to help make these creations a reality.
If this is something that you might potentially be interested in, it would be great to hear a little bit more about you – perhaps over the phone?
Best wishes,
Emma
That'll be an electrical problemSounds interestingish, though prehaps I'd best not apply as I cant think of a problem that cant be fixed with hammer and or large trebuchet.
So did I. Very worthwhile.http://www.remap.org.uk/ Sounds a bit like these people, I've done work for this charity in the past, very satisfying.
