Bicycle wheel holder

One for the cyclist's on this group, fancied a park tool wh1 but couldn't justify the £100 price tag so decided to make my own, chuffed with how its turned out, the ability to change out tyres, sealant etc without the wheel rolling about is much nicer. Made up from bits from my scrap bin. 3 different axles fitted for 5mm qr, 12 and 15mm

?? Are the 'axles' 5mm, 12mm and 15mm and the "qr" part refers to the 'lock-in-place' side handle for positioning only?

I use a stans injector through the valve on their regular sealant, I've been trying stans race and also regular with glitter and it won't go through the valve as it clogs up.

The 5mm qr refers to the normal axle with a lever one end and nut the other.

12mm and 15mm types still have the lever but thread into the fork on 15mm and frame on 12mm, they are usually referred to a thru axles, I've added a picture of a 15mm bellow.

@pondy we use Orange Seal & Muc off

But most people rate the orange seal it's awesome in its sealing capabilities

We have no problem on either type of valves
