And the law agrees with that.
If you're at risk of having an epileptic fit, then the DVLA will revoke your license.
A strobe at a certain frequency and for a certain period would only affect about 3% of people who could be prone to epilepsy.
I just find it utterly stupid to allow a device to be used on the road that is dangerous. Police lights and service vehicle lights do not have the same danger.
