Walking back through the park I had to detour several times. This area has a small river through it and lots of nice grass, usually...

Having endured three days of Storm Babet [although where I was was by no means the worst] I drove home yesterday in beautiful sunshine. Ben Wyvis has snow on the top, I'll see if I can post a still from the dash-cam later, assuming that section hasn't been overwritten.

Today I rose to this, freezing fog.

This was the high street in my town, back in 1945. It still floods a bit nowadays, especially Wetherspoons, which is below street level, but it's never been this bad again.

Tried and failed to upload a video using YouTube but it only seemed to accept 'images'? I have no idea why, as I've upload clips before. Aaaanyway, here's a screen grab - Ben Wyvis is under that cloud mass at approx 9 o'clock....

Looked better to the naked eye.
