I'm having brain-fade: can't figure out whether this is a problem or not...
So I bought a second hand Evolution table saw (R255MTS) and the height bevel gears were stripped. Splurged £6 on a pair from evo and it seems that the pair coming off are both 31mm but the supplied pair are 29mm and 31mm respectively.
There is nothing in the exploded parts diagram that suggests that the larger one should be fitted to one spindle or the other (the part number refers to the pair). No response from evo to my emails.
I think it shouldn't matter which is fitted to which in terms of fitment - I know there's obviously a difference in gearing but it's only a handwheel so I'm not concerned about that.
Am I right to be unconcerned and just fit them either way?
