If you shop around you can get it cheaper. The reason I use it is that it's a simple chemical and breaks down into harmless components. Not sure that can be said about Gallup/Roundup/glyphosate, lots of conflicting research. Not wishing to sound negative - but at £15 per 5 ltr, (using your mixing data above), isn't that more expensive than using Gallup.......??
So I use the simpler alternative as there is no controversy regarding ammonium sulphamate toxicity or whether it is cancerous. If it's good enough for the Henry Doubleday Research Association, English Heritage, National Trust and British Trust for Conservation Volunteers then its good enough for me.
Currently not licensed as a herbicide in EU when the rules changed as as nobody wants to stump up the testing fees, something about testing on animals too. But it is licensed in the US, and used to be in the UK. Not sure how this effects its license in the UK after Brexit, but probably still not licensed. I use it as a compost accelerator but occasionally spill some on the weeds on the way to the compost heap
