Best supplier of cut to size 0.5 copper sheet

I've been looking at buying copper sheet to put on my ridge tiles to try and kill off the dreaded moss. There's a place in Maghull that sells copper sheet in all sorts of sizes and will also cut to your size....I'll come back with the name but if you search copper/maghull in google you'll find it.

Does it need to be sheet? My understanding [never rigged it up myself] is that a decent diameter wire will do the same job?

Hi SBF..yes I think you can use copper wire but I have a major problem with very large (council owned) trees hanging over my roof. It took me the best part of a month this year just clearing the front as the moss was very thick and the only way was to hand scrape each-very small -roof tile.

I would rather pay out a couple of £100 to be sure of keeping any more at bay

The pic shows me starting the roof in April...I hand scraped every tile and then pressure washed the whole roof..it was immaculate.
Had a close look the other day and it's all coming back.....
