Best spring compressor

I'm looking for advice on the best type of spring compressors for a car garage, hydraulic or air , budget is about 250 quid or more,all advice appreciated

I take it you mean road springs rather than valve springs?

Cheapest professional one I would think is the Sykes Pickavant pneumatic still is around £900 ex vat

there are cheaper though im not sure if the word professional is used! what ive seen I would describe as crap but they work!, im referring to the free standing hydraulic type

I have a portable hydraulic one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-VS...710?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5b061cd4c6 but mine was chinese one at a quarter of the price( it looks identical and probably is !!) I cant remember the make though it works fine the only thing that wasnt good was the return spring in the cyl it limited the travel, so i took it out,
with it being portable I have done rears without having to undo shocks and ARB links etc etc .
just found this on alba very similar price that I paid dont forget this is dollars
