Best rust proofer?

Hi ive been welding and patching panels onto my car and i want to
rust proof bits and pieces on the body and chassis. Going to doing some more welding soon and i dont want to use hammerite so would like some decent
stuff to stop it rusting like the titanic

Is this for the inside of the panels, or outside?

It will be underneath the car theres flakey sealant here and there with rust underneath
nothing major just surface rust. As i was going to weld up some aerial holes and trim panel popper holes would i put some rust proofer after grinding welds back or just etch primer?

The most important thing to start with is a good wire brushing. When your weld pool stops getting the shielding gas, it absorbs moisture like you would not believe so is important to scrub all the area well to clean all the impurities out (yes i am talking mig as well as stick) Then. If you are going to weld to it, copper weld thro primer, or if you are going to paint at some stage int he future when all the weld is complete, i would whisk on a bit of activated etch for now but remember all primer is porous to a degree so dont allow the elements to sit on it too long.

Looking at the hydrate 80 so in a few weeks when the other panels turn
up i'll be giving all a go

seems alright stuff the gel looks a great idea but cant really use it so hydrate 80
it is.
