Depends where it is?
If it's on the shiny side 2K will be fine (assuming you don't need any other filling or prep work)
If it on the underside a stone chip will help protect the paint.
Lots of options and usually comes down to two schools -
One prefer a hard stone chip Gravitex, 3m etc. etc.
Others (myself included) prefer an under-seal that doesn't go hard Sikaguard 6440 or Dinitrol 447
Others still use two pack underseal (v expensive) just don't use a schutz which is tar based (work of the devil in my opinion) I've had to take it off before now.
If you put a proper stone chip on you can over paint if you want but a good wax underneath is also a good idea.
