Hi everyone
I recently upgraded from a gasless MIG to a hobbyist 240v gas MIG.
So far but I have been welding using Co2 “food grade” gas as I already have a 6.35kg bottle of that for homebrew kegging.
Since I have an account with an air liquide supplier for the Co2 I thought it would be really easy to get some argon/co2 mix but my supplier doesn’t do it unfortunately.
Can anyone recommend the best place to get Argon/Co2 mix in either the Dumfriesshire, Lanarkshire or Glasgow areas, please?
I did get a reasonable price for Hobby Weld bottles from SIG gas in Glasgow, and the guy did seem really helpful. But I have since learned the hobby weld 9l bottle is only at 137 bar so a lower overall volume than other bottle suppliers. Best option so far though.
Grateful for any other recommendations, please!
Thanks!
