I'm new to the world of Epoxy primers but following using some hb989 I'm a convert. Amazing build, filling power and sandability without porosity. Also very unreactive to old paint perhaps due to fairly low solvent content. However it nearly didn't cure. Took days before it passed the fingernail test despite me cooking the hell out of it the first 10hrs after spraying.
How does lechler 29107 compare to hb989 in sandability etc? Can you use 2k thinner with it like you can with hb989? I seem to remember you can get a fast hardener for lechler which should avoid the white knuckle "is it ever going to cure" worry in temps above 10 degrees.
