I use Wurth flapdiscs as that's what they use at work![]()
Best flap discs I've ever used are the PFERD Polifan curves. They've got rounded corners with abrasive over them so you can get into weld seams with them easily. They cost an arm and a leg though. I had a few samples from a company once so whenever any of the lads come by my shed to take some stuff if my hands I usually give them one or two.
I think dale had my last one a little while back :P
Yeah they do 5mm and 8mm. I quite enjoyed using them but I'm not going to be shelling out that much for them.We have a few boxes of these in the stores. Something like 4 quid a disc, but when there isn't any other disc to do what you need, then they are the ones. They do two different thicknesses iirc
I did Tom, I remember you telling me how much they cost so I've not used it yet. I'm thinking of framing it actually!!Best flap discs I've ever used are the PFERD Polifan curves. Best value though is the Abracs ceramic flap discs, you'll find them for £1.50 + vat each usually if bought in 10s. They're good stock removal and last a fairly long time too.
Hahaha, I'm not sure theyre that expensive :PI did Tom, I remember you telling me how much they cost so I've not used it yet. I'm thinking of framing it actually!!
