I have recently been stripping a startrite drill for a bit of a clean up.
I have decided on the hammer finish enamel from paragon paints along with their etch primer as recommended on their website.
According to paragon both can be brushed and I don't have the ability to spray. So as it see it it's brush or £40ish for one of those electric spray jobs (could find other uses for this afterwards). https://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-...kiJZ9xxr6VfeodiZWdgoe140HtS0dQZhoCkM8QAvD_BwE
Would like a decent finish but at the end of the day the intent is this to be a working drill and I have probably spent a little more than it's worth already. What would you guys recommend?
I assume a bit of heat in the casting and the paint will always help too.
