You are welcome Dan. We got there in the end with the torch spares kit!, glad you are now up & running. That's the trouble with the machine manufacturers, they are forever changing things & it's difficult keeping up to speed with all the different parts required; I reckon I've got one of the most comprehensive parts stock in the UK & I still get caught out!

Received my Parweld XR914H Autoshield from Weldequip first thing this morning (04 Jan). It was despatched (as promised) on 02 Jan after I'd ordered via the 'net over the holidays.

Package was extremely well packed - must have cost a few quid in bubblewrap alone!

I haven't used it in anger - just tested it against the kitchen spotlights and it works well.

Great value, great service and another staisfied Weldequip customer - highly recommended!

Yes prices have come down since posting that thread. To be honest, I've moved away from the Parweld unit. Found a nicer model, same kind of price as the original but much nicer quality with better specs.

Can anyone tell me is this helmet adequate or have a made a mistake? I've tried it for comfort and did the old 'spot light in the face' to see, and it works perfectly but is it safe? have i made a mistake?
