Anyone have any reccomendations for a good, reasonably priced welding consumables supplier?

I am going through quite a few reels of 5356 2kg building these boats, as well as flap discs and polishing discs, cutting etc?

Kinda looking for something like Aquafax but for welding stuff?

Just do a shopping list and email copies of it to everyone asking for prices.

Problem is everybody prefers different consumables and the dealers all stock different stuff so it's hard to recomend anybody based on price alone.

If you want a lot of one item most places will offer a decent discount especially if you can wait until they can add it onto a regular order or just get it sent direct to you from one supplier.
If you want a decent amount of various items then walk into your nearest supplier and see what they will do for a larger order.

It might actually be worth the convenience of finding a local supplier as, once you get to know them, you normally get decent prices but you can buy in dribs and drabs from them which saves you holding stock and helps with cash flow.
My local guy is in the area once a week and is happy to drop stuff off when nobody is here and if we need something in a hurry he will leave it out somewhere or even take it home with him for me to collect at 10pm at night.
Sometimes it's worth paying more for the service as I know he would lend me a welder etc. if mine packed up half way through a job.

If you want something specific there is the wanted section on here as well, it's come in handy for me a few times as most of the members on here either have obscure stuff tucked away or have tons of stuff they never actually use!

I have had good service from welding supplies direct, @Tom Orrow L may be able to help you out with a discount if you are bulk buying and ask nicely.
