A quickie. A whetstone grinder arrived today. One bottom corner of the base is slightly bent.
Ordered from Amazon when they had the recent deals on. If I return & reorder, (at its current price), the item, (which is the way they say I need to sort a replacement for this item), I then have to contact them once it's delivered to arrange a refund of the difference between current & the deal price.
Also, no guarantee the courier won't do similar again. I haven't checked it yet to make sure everything works as it ought, but if it does, would you say it's simpler to just straighten this myself rather than doing the return, reorder, refund path?
