I’m hoping there’s an electrician who could give me some advice.
I’m fitting 25mm conduit around my workshop and the cable factor for 3 X 6mm and 6 X 2.5mm easily falls within the factor for the conduit (800)
I have several support columns though and there’s another table which significantly reduces the cable factor when there are bends, I need 4 X 90 degree bends to get around each support column.
There will be a 90 degree inspection elbow at each bend as the bends are not really long enough to do with the pipe bender insert and it’ll look neater.
Does the fact that I’m using the inspection bends mean that I can ignore the cable factor reduction as the cables can be pulled through each corner now, or is there another reason why the cable factor reduction exists with bends?
