Bending/rolling rebar

Hi Guys I am on the brink of making a large dome structure out of steel bar, see 'New Project' in projects.
I have done loads of work with rolling mild steel bar, is rebar an option for this tyope of work? is it easy to bend? is springier than bog standard mild steel bar? with the knobbliness mess up the rolling process?

We've rolled rebar before, but only for its intended use; inside some curved concrete beams, its usually high tensile (although seems to saw ok?!), so a bit more springy than ms, but didnt make any difference with the rolling, other than a bit more tension on them there rolls.

I've only seen it bent using heat and then only into fixed angles not curves. I used to work at a foundry with a rolling mill where it was made and it came out of there ready curved and had to go for straightening. It would be hard to do it in a ring roller type machine with the grip marks causing it to stick. It used to be made in aisi 416 grade steel when the firm was making it.
