I just used wago connectors on the wires after I cut the plugs off makes connection.easy for.me

thats how i've done it in the past.
(choc blocks, rather than wagos, however).
but adding switches, and resistors etc, is a ball ache.
plus, $2.99, delivered? I could barely get just the wagos for that price.

Correction, these are from sort of telecoms kit made by Cisco

Telecoms: that would explain why it has 28 Amps of output power at -50 Volts !
The centre connector has 4 rows of small pins, 6 pins in each row. To enable power-on, connect a 1K Ohm resistor from Pin 3 ( counting from the left ) in the second row to Pin 2 in the fourth ( bottom ) row.

1:58 gives the pins to connect - have you tried them.

ATX power supplies on some of them you can also alter the voltage divider on the voltage control chip to make them variable supply on both the 12v and 5v outputs.

That’s the one, I couldn’t make out what to connect where, I’ll give it a go and see what happens

The -50v is on the left, then the small pins, then the +3.3v, so the 12v will be on the extreme right. To carry the current, I'd expect several of those flat blade pins to be paralleled-up in the same circuit.

who needs switches and resistors! i have ordered one though just to see what I can make with one

arrived today.

first impressions:
very solid, and well made pcb.
nice thick board and good wide tracks.

the outputs are NOT for banana plugs - they are just screw terminals - m4 size.

the outputs are fused - but all the fuses are 20A. so will need changing to match the output of your psu.

with those caveats, still seems worth the money.
