Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well .
So I'm going to save a workbench from a jobsite , it's practically a school desk .
Heavy box tubing construction , wooden top and some drawers .
After making it better for the purpose (sheet metal on the top, some bracing here and there ecc) I'd like to put a decent bench vise on it .
But I'm seeking for advice about the sizes of it.
I've always thought that whenever this moment happened I'd put a 6" forged steel vise on it .
But the other day I've seen one and it looks little bit too much .
But I can't decide if keep going with my original idea (150mm jaws width) or going with something smaller .
The day I'll have my homeshop set up is everyday closer .
I'd like to set up a small machine hobby shop at home .
Which bench vise size you would recommend to suit the purpose?
Thanks in advance
