As some of you will know I've been looking for a decent bench drill for a while (sorry )

I think I've found what I'm looking for:

Am I correct in thinking this is a decent piece of kit?

I had a similar one - well built, solid and will go on for ever. (Again, like Drains...so i hear)

It looks in very good condition, presumably either well looked after or little used. 240v as well.
Presuming it works ok, I would pay 200 quid....
The chuck may well be in a morse taper. Morse taper makes it much more versatile.
Ebay?

Yes it's on flea bay but it looks to be in very good condition.

Yes I got it, picked it up yesterday.

It's a well built piece of kit as I'd hoped. (Does anybody know how old it is?)
Zero play in anything, to be honest I don't think it's been used much!

Could anybody give me a rough drill diameter guide versus speed please? - It's probably 15 years since I used a proper drill and I can't remeber

Don't remember seeing drilling speeds in my zeus, but then i don't remember where it is either . There's quite a few tables available online- print one off and stick it the side of the belt cover

Nope, no drilling speeds in my Zeus. I seem to remember that there is a formula for calculating the speeds, much the same for calculating lathe speeds. If I can find it I'll post it up.
