Belt sander stand......

Thinking about putting my recently acquired ( and most astonishingly excellent ) belt sander on a species of wheeled stand , so as to be able to deploy the thing swiftly, stably, and effectively.
Sort of pondering the idea of a modified Zimmer frame....

Seems to me that the horizontal forces of the belt sander would be in conflict with the predominantly vertical force that said frame is designed for.
That said, I shall be looking forward to the development.

It's a vertical sander, a bit like a Vanco, but better.....

You would need to add a drop down tread plate to stand on, without something to anchor it down it will either fall over or you will be waltzing with it.

I stuck mine on this trolley with generic storage below. As with most of us, space is always at a premium.

Zimmer frame likely incoming soon, and a variety of reinforcing techniques are being mulled over....
