you managed to get a refund on the board count your self lucky your not 70 in a hole and tip it

Will that be after you cut out the sides for the steel..../ I 'salvaged' one side of a drier which someone was going to skip, it now serves as the back-splash panel for my lathe.

I had to chop the side out of my Hotpoint to allow access to the plastic drum.. that needed welding after a coin went through it. The plastic weld has done 12 months now so I might get round to putting a patch over the hole sometime ;-)

Not quite the end....

It's been replaced with a brand new Indesit at £236 delivered, installed this morning. I got a refund on the control board I bought.

But I haven't ditched the Beko yet - I've given myself 6 months to try and get a motor (or more probably a motor electronics board) for £35 or less and see if that was the problem. If it then works I'll have a spare machine and satisfaction of having fixed it. If not, it will go for re-cycling!

Not yet, currently in the car port, a dog show in Builth Wells tomorrow and then Brisbane for 3 weeks!

Never seen belts drying up in 3 year's, alot of the one's I've seen are way older than that. Gates makes alot of 'em...

poss could do depending where it is kept to in a nice garage should be ok in a wet shed hot and cold frost will not do it any favers
