They took me to court 3 times for no tax. As it was in bits in my unit it had been SORNd.
The magistrates tried to fine me but I explained I even had photographs of the new owner on his trailer with the mini and what was reason for persistent chasing me when it was clear it had not been used on the road and did not even require tax as it was a classic.
I said I would be prepared to go to prison and they would need to pay for me in prison and a carer for my wife.
The DvLA decided to drop the case.
