That's just bragging nowI have it in writing from our young receptionist that I am "SUPER COOL" (her upper-case) based entirely on my Caterham parked in the work car park
I was rather surprised
When I was strapping a 23 yr old engineer out of the other office into the Caterham the other week, she came out to take a look and ask why I wasn't taking her out . . . in-front of her fiancee who had just arrived to take her home . . . we have a new receptionist this week . . .
The 23yr old engineer caused me some grief when my other half heard about her . . .
(I was one to tell her
)Just as a side fact - to fit in a (heated) Caterham passenger seat, you can only have a 15.5" wide bottom . . just saying . . .
The older replacement receptionist also commented
It is the only time it's happened . . . it's normally rather younger kids loving it. Into teens and "yer cars **** mister" as one said as they ran past
So far this week, no-one has said a thing about the big blue yank I'm using
But I still wouldn't be designing lifting frames

Don't worry, as has been mentioned, that you're being considered to do this at present, is ridiculous.
But, you can approach it with positivity, so you don't seem like a Debbie downer.
Something along the lines of; "yea, the concept seems like a great labour saving idea, we should try to do it"
"I'm not qualified to design or build something appropriate, but I know enough about the requirements to find out if there are any suppliers/designers/hire firms around that might be able to help. Leave it with me and I'll see if I can get some information together."
