Hi Everyone,I am new to mig welding but have used stick welding for a number of years.I have just recently obtained a Clark 90 EN gas less welder and have used it in this mode quite well, however I thought I would try the gas mode and obtained a co2 pub gas bottle from a reliable sauce, the correct regulators and gas flow meter plus the correct nozzles for the .08 mild steel wire,Try as I might I cannot weld with the gas it just crackles, spits, sticks and forms blobs all over the place.I swapped over the earth lead and torch lead as per instruction in the manual for gas welding I have tried different flow rates, settings on the wire advance high and low settings, made sure there is a good earth connection, also the gas is coming through the torch ok , tried everything until I am blue in the face. I am about to give up the gas side of it and just use the gas-less wire, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong
