Hi, I'm new here... and looking for a good place to start.
I have the opportunity to buy a oerlikon minicito 250, 3 phase MIG (I have 3 phase, 380V 16A outlet in the workshop) that has recently been serviced complete with a brand new kemppi gun. Is this a decent welder for me?
The plan is to use it to fabricate things for my motorcycles as well as other home improvement projects. I think a 250A welder might be overkill, but is there any downsides other than workshop space and portability?
From what I can gather online it has a minimum of 30A, I guess that is not an issue as I am not planning on doing body work on cars or other very thin jobs.
