Beginner kit

im going to be ordering an r-tech 160 dc tig this week !
Im writing up a list of things i need to order at the same time to get me up and running straight away. Im going to grab a load of mild/stainless scrap to practice on. Heres my list so far:

R-tech 160 tig (comes with torch/regulator etc.)
Tig compatible mask
Tig gloves
Filler rods and tungstens (not sure what sizes etc, i need any pointers?)
BIG bottle of argon gas

What else will i need to get me going out of the box ?

1.6mm A15 rod
1.6mm Tungstens
collets to suit and some No6 shrouds, you might as well buy these in boxes of ten as they are cheap as chips

Going to try and set aside time each day to practice !

Do the bits you mention vary in quality depending on supplier ? Or shall I just get them wherever there cheapest ? 1.6mm is a good starting point for a beginner then ?

Tungsten's can, torch parts not really. Rods a bit, but shouldn't. Bit vague I know. You get what you pay for as they say

ok well i may aswell order it all from r-tech if im buying there welder.

1.6mm collets
1.6mm tunstens
no6 shrouds added to the list.
