bit of topic but given some of the DIYers on here someone may have some info
thinking of buying a beginner CNC machine, looking at getting a router like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KIT-Desktop-CN...item33575c6e9a, this would be sort of an exclusive woodworking machine only though
or could go down the SH route if I knew where there was a good machine going
wondering does anyone know anything about these machines, what is to look out for in terms of precision, motor power etc.
will be cutting slots in rosewood about 1/2" deep (multiruns will be used to get to 1/2" deep )
might put the odd bit of aluminium through it as well
so any recommendations fire away
will be running it from a laptop so preferably USB controlled
anyone know any dealers etc. ?
