Bedding paving?

I have some limestone paving steps to repair. I have done them once and they have come off, lasted about 2 years.
They are limestone paving on brick-faced /concrete steps, about 600 wide x 350 mm deep but they overhang the edge about 75 mm, so when you tread on them they try to flip I think. They are too thin to drill the edge, I can't rebate them in the back so, can anyone recommend a way or product that will stick them down permanently. Cheers.

I had a step that kept throwing it's tiles no matter what I used, then I got some pink grip and they have not moved in the seven years since I relaid them.

Dry, clean and hoover before sticking...not just brush because dust remains in the small pores the pink grip needs to get into.

Cut 40mm off the back edge and set them back more towards the riser, reducing the overhang.

Pete is right, still think the pink grip is brilliant stuff but that overhang is way too much, needs cut back or the step built out.

If you want to keep the overhang, can you put a vertical section on the riser? That would give you a rebate to slot the tread into.

Cut some slots in the back face and exsisting bed and resin them down. Chemical anchor stuff?

Thanks for replies. These are the steps. Overhang varies along length of steps, about 15 ft.

Expensive but anchor resin works well, or mix cement with SBR

Not seeing a 75mm overhang there. If you fix them down properly, they shouldn't budge. My guess is poor substrate and/or weak mortar.

lift them up score them underneath with a disk in grinder get some sbr bonding agent . paint the slabs and sub base with it and cement them down they wont go nowhere then

There is a 75mm overhang in places, it looks less in the pic, but they are rough edge slabs.

paint it on and lay the slabs while its still wet .u can add it to the mortar
