I would take all the legs off and check they are on properly, they may not be asymmetric . Failing that send them back to Cadbury’s for a refund.

My dad has a couple of Sykes pullers and they're excellent, very expensive though. The upside of the cheap sets is I can wind it in with the impact wrench without having to worry about abusing quality tools.@Robert1998 Get a Sykes one, It will last you a lifetime & many people on here swear by them!
Cheap crap or not, you will probably find the legs are different length from the pivots, gives you sone flexibility, turn it round and it should be better.
If that's not the case.... it's duff.
@Welderpaul if you look at the 3rd picture I think @grim_d is also talking about one of the legs possibly being the wrong way round
