I have a small (ca. 10m2) area of concrete block cavity wall which I'd like to insulate. It's too small a job for the professional installers, so it's going to be a DIY solution.
I've seen the "fill gun" that the pros use for this, and it appears to consist of a simple mixing chamber where pneumatically fed bead is mixed with PVA adhesive just before a (ca. 250mm x 20mm) nozzle.
Having sourced the bulk bead, the next step is to come up with a suitable fill gun. Anyone here have any knowledge of these things?
There's an option to loose fill the cavity (gravity pour), and not use adhesive if it comes to that. Access is good, and drilling holes to accommodate the bead fill is easy.
