It's a welding forum make your ownIt's all in the title. Lots have stainless bit tend to be ibn wrong place. Others seem way overpriced.
I have in the past....just wanted a ready made no hassle one. Had one with an alloy lid and pan ,which lasted many years. Charbroil I think. Patched this one up and it's gone again. It's always the pans that go first. So the one's that purport to being stainless, are usually anything but. It's a welding forum make your own
Got one here...but the intended use is a trommel.Stainless steel old washing machine drum. Makes a great firepit but easily used as a BBQ also
Will check out thanksWe have a barbecook, had it about 15 years now, lives outside in all weathers, all stainless construction.
Yes looked at the webbers...some there around £3,000. Something around £400-600'ish'll do. Although it still works out expensive per Hamburger. Some that seem overpriced…. But I reckon you get what you pay for. I also hear al the Webber’s are about to go up in price.
I had an Australian brand (sunshine ?) that lasted 13 years - the burners rusted out and it wasn’t economical to repair. A thread on here somewhere about painting the hood. Got a new Weber genesis - have had that 8 years now I think and it’s like new. And it gets used a lot (just did pork ribs for 6 hours today!) aside from that and after lots of research I’ve just taken delivery today of a Weber kettle. So all bases covered.
whatever you get get a rotisserie and smoking box.
lots of fun! BBQ is not sausages and burgers !
