@Robbie260 if only charging batteries for cordless tools, Then I understand your situation better.

Most tidy professional way to go.
My dad finally blew his up after about 6 years of daily work 5 days a week 10 hour days.
2 batteries in that time.
They don’t like these stop start motors though. It was a headache getting the special charging relay.
I think that was the final nail in the coffin.
The CTEK DC-DC chargers are supposed to be really good. From the stuff I've read they do a better job than a standard split charge relay
