Yep, I lived in Portway so literally within staggering distance, rarely went anywhere else in town. Never went in the Shoulder the whole time I lived there, though did buy 5 Ford Rangers from Motorlux opposite.

God they were pretty awful - endless tacho faults, warning lights, tow bar electrics, fuel consumption... Worst was when all the passenger-side airbags went off whilst the driver was in the outside lane of the M18!! And Ford refused the warranty claim.

The problem I find with the modern chargers is that they can't be used as a source of 12 volts to test wiper motors or fans etc. You still need an old fashioned charger to do that.
I also have a couple of Lidl chargers, as long as you remember to press the button to select bike or car, they work well.
