need to build a bigger shed, only have a 6x4 at the moment and it too small so planning on making a bigger 6x8 next to it. use the small one for storage and the big one as a workshop.
however, I only have grass to build on. landlord wont allow me to put a concrete base in.
what can I use as a base that will support a box section frame with marine ply sides, a lathe and small mill (weighing about 100kg each) and a welding bench?
would need to bolt the shed's frame down to the base, and it would also be used as the shed floor too.
was thinking about using big paving slabs that the council use for pavements? I know someone who has around 4 ton of them and will sell me what I need cheap, but im not sure if they will stay level or sink in the ground
