no i got one, so, who else thinks that the workers in halfords are all idiots
i had to tell them that they were to give me the topbox, they had no idea, and i got 10% off also because i reserved it before xmas, so i got a big box for 145 quuid

I was thinking of buying a machine mart clarke ctc1300 which is about the same size, slide drawers not ball bearing, and probably not as good - cost £160ish. Various family members bunged me cash to buy a toolbox, so I will be collecting my halfords one first thing tomorrow. Also grabbed a 1/4" ratchet to replace my missing one at the same time.

ive just finished filling mine, its some size, my garage looks much emptier now,
the only problem with it is that id rather have more of thin drawers rather than the deep ones because i dont want to pile tools on top of each other and make it messy just to fill it, but other than that its perfect,

ps. when i went to collect it today they never had any topboxes in stock so they offered me the display one, i said ill still have it but they noticed a patheticly small ding in the lid and so said if i still want it then they would let me pick £30 worth of tools, so i happily said yes!, so as i went to pick my freebies the guy came back 2 minutes later and said that they found a topbox in stock, i was gutted
but it just shows that they have good customer care anyway

I had the same scenario with the topbox, computer said 3 in stock, none to be found. I was offered the display one, but noticed a mark on the lid (looked like it was there at the factory) so he gave me a fiver off (OK not much but it's the thought that counts!).

Spent an enjoyable afternoon at the workshop filling it with tools etc and pottering about generally

they are very good (and big) for the money but ive found one problem, you have to slam the drawers shut so that they will lock in place when the lid goes down or else they can just open when its locked

Agree on the drawers/locking issue, not perfect but as long as you remember to do it...

Looks good, i was put off in the end by the size, seemed a little small, less than 4 foot complete, or maybe i`m going mad
