Bargain chuck on eBay

I hate when that happens. You could always consider buying it and selling the other one; but would need an appropriate back plate for it.

Oh it's a great chuck I;m not complaining about the quality. I paid £80 for it which was a great price with it being better than the one listed above, but I only got inside jaws. The outside jaws are about the same again to buy, which still makes it a healthy reduction over list price. That one above for £150 is a better deal IMO.

I hate when that happens. You could always consider buying it and selling the other one; but would need an appropriate back plate for it.

Can't - I'm saving up for a new toy, if it wasn't for that I would have hit the button right away. I had to make a backplate for the TOS so that's not a worry.

Bah, collection only. I would have bought as my outside jaws are badly bell mouthed.

I bought one 3 or 4 years ago that was supposed to be d1-4 , turned out to be d1-3 so I sold it

And this as I did not have time to ask if it was on a backplate or direct to chuck...bargain though.

There was one last week pick up only in bromsgrove with a start price of £75 and no bids , my lathe came with the bare minimum, I have picked up a 8inch independent and both steadys since , I'm betting when home workshop bought it it had all the extras with it and they sold them separately

course they do . I bought a Harrison L.5 mint minus 4 jaw chuck 300 quid .guy sold me the 4 jaw for 120 quid separately thats life
