No. Looks about right. Might even suggest that's cheap for a big anvil. If it's really six inches wide (as stated in the ad), it's probably 260kg+ or close to 580lbs in old money and at a pound for a pound, not far off price wise.
Apart from the fact I wouldn't pay much at all with the top being like a dogs hind leg, I think your problem is your too used to London prices. Brightspark is right we ought to be buying stuff up here and selling to you lot down there.
I had a double bick that was missing the round bick end and i've seen at least half a dozen in a similar state. I reckon that quality control couldn't have been 100% perfect all the time.
