I was involved with a production company when they hired 3 industrial robots and I did the programming, the production company was just an office with a phone, absolutely everything else was hired in.

I think these shows are pretty cheap to make. B and C, Wheeler Dealers, it's just a camera operator, a sound man, and the producer, then post production.

It's a pretty crowded market these days though. I watch fewer of the US variants these days just because I feel a bit satiated with them.

There just has to be a flaw in that idea but for the life of me I cannot see it.

just getting them mugged into buying your specific car will be the minor flaw I think , but if they did your in like flynn

I have watched Dream car fixers series 1 recently its quite good, they did a nice Anglia 105e

That's one I really like. 2 nice guys, no manufactured drama, just a very straightforward resto show. Hope they make another series.
