bandsaw not cutting square

got a clakrke 6x4 bandsaw of e-bay a while ago.
only really used it to cut small stuff 25mm box being biggest, but cant get square cut top to bottom, side to side is fine.
found a guide on one of bandsaw forums and tried everything on there.
in guide it says upper wheel and lower wheel should be parralel ( when arm is in upright position) now my upper wheel is 3/16 at least further back than lower wheel and got no way to move it forward.
lower one is as far back as it will go on shaft.

any ideas pls as need to cut some 85x85 soon and need it as square as pos.

I have one of these things, I had to spend a day or so reworking it to get all the crap castings to line up right, the guide rollers especially were bad. The good news is that when done plus the fitting of a quality bimetallic blade totally transforms it into a usable it of equipment.

Heres how i do mine and i have 3 of them running production. Start with a new blade. Put the blade on and push a small block of steel or a square up to the blade while the saw head is down as in a finished cut. Eye the square to the blade and see which way its leaning. It should have a gap because if the teeth being crooked but make the gap the same top to bottom. I know its kinda hard esp with a small width blade. If its off grab two wrenches for adjustment. Loosen one and turn the small cam thingy on the bearing with the other wrench then tighten up the first wrench and recheck for square. It may take a few times. Then a test cut. Just cut a sliver of steel so not to waste it. Just my thoughts and hollar if you have problems...Bob
