Never found the MM ones to be any good, a neighbour is very senior there and says they buy in the cheapest cr@p they can get, for the most profit.
Screwfix ones are surprisingly good, and at a good price.

i know this has been asked 100 times but i have a 6" clarke band saw and am in need of a new blade, the one i have had on there has lasted a good few years and i know the company was recommeded by someone on here.
any recommendation?

That's a very defamatory statement, would you like to back that up with any evidence/proof, rather than hearsay?
My post wasn't relating to MM's own brand, but I clearly posted suggesting the OP might choose to purchase a "Clarke" blade for a "Clarke" saw...
As per others, don't go for the cheapest own brand, but then Mike os has given you the answer you seek.
Possibly misunderstood, so to clarify.
He hasn't given me an answer I seek as I am not seeking an answer as I have tried most of the major brands and found the Screwfix ones to match the best so I am happy with them.
