Hi Guys,
This morning I managed to break the blade in my portable bandsaw so I'll be getting another one (or two). The trouble for me is deciding which I need to get. as I use it for cutting a range of metal from tubing to flat bar.
this came with a variable pitch 10 to 14 tpi blade. which is likey to be the best option for me?
and after grinding the join back
Ive read that you can TIG weld them back together too.so if I was to do this next time, would I be able to use 316 filler rod (have read that stainless wire works better than mild steel), or is tig brazing with silicone bronze wire an option).

- get another 10 to 14 tpi variable pitch blade
- get just a 14 tpi blade and accept that it will cut larger section bars, but it'll just take longer
- get one 10 tpi and a 14 tpi and change blade depending on what I'm cutting.
