Those are the bits, cept the pinch bolt system is like your original top pic.
Fun bit of kit from the pix. Guy I knew built a buggy from a Citroen CX unit (in the back) and a VW front end in a space frame. Complete nut, I saw him driving it on the main coast road in daylight. Used the high pressure hydraulics system in the VW front brakes..seemed to work OK..

yes its fun but with only 50 bhp its never going to set the world on fire, but it feels fast even if its not as you are low down and out in the fresh air with a singing engine 3" from you earoles,

heres another vid from the buggy behind this time which is interesting because it has 140 bhp but cant keep up , this would seem to suggest that a 500kg buggy with 50 bhp is better/quicker than a 1000kg buggy with 140 bhp, lightest is bestest ??

anti roll bar linkages wont be anywhere near as strong as the joint he needs not to mention they will be threaded both sides

A normal track rod end wont do as they are taper fit not straight pin as shown in the photo

yeah i realised that just pointing out to others really, ive been looking all over and that joint really is an odd beast, ive never come accross one

Rose joints are fine as long as you're happy to keep changing them, especially in a dirty wet environment.

Remember them going regularly on a rally car I used to crew for.

thats the thing that puts me off the most, very short life span but it is a buggy that gets used a couple of times a month, so if l have to go that way so be it, would prefer the original type but hard to find over here, bet you can buy a wheel barrow full for tuppence in china lol

you could look for a bolt on ball joint that woulb be suitable and just make the other attachment with the threaded part

If I recall correctly, I seem to think that company he's linked to on Ebay also do some form of protective boot for their rose joints too, which would help a bit with regards to ingress of crud.

these are cheap for rose joints, if you need heavy duty ones could you not try a tractor spares as the 3 point linkages seem to take a fare bit of weight
