Baer drills taps etc are any good?

Hi everyone.
I was looking on Amazon and eBay for drill bits sets , and found this unknown to me brand which is not exactly cheap and so here comes the question...
Is Baer any good?

If you look up their address, the company building doesn't look very big, The website is very slick. I suspect they are selling goods manufactured from elsewhere at inflated prices. The tap sets on their website look generic and Chinese.

If they operated a German factory, they wouldn't be so coy about it. They'd be telling the world.

I can and I actually buy some time to time .
I was curious about this brand because the price is as high as Dormer and Gühring.
So I've never heard or seen the brand before and I was just wondering if was actually good stuff or not.

Dormer, Guhring, OSG, Emuge

Only new taps i would buy.

Older brands are much cheaper and usually just as good:
CEJ, LAL, Dormer,

I do have some stuff from all of those brands.
Mostly Dormer and SKF machine taps ,few dies ,a Dormer die stock , a Gühring decimal drills set , various morse to drills .
Something Wexo too .
I'll have a look at the website you advised.

What about Krino ? It's an Italian brand but I've noticed a tap and dies set which looks like generic Chinese cheapness just sold at double the price

Not familiar with any italian manufacturers except Emuge which are absolutely top notch production taps

Didn't know Emuge was Italian, I believe it was German or French.
I have few taps and used one the other day to make a brake line blind nut to exclude the broken line on my car.

yes german but a lot of manufacturing in italy (cost)

Believe same thing happened with Dormer under SKF Group , most of the Dormer stuff I have is made in Italy

Hopefully they keep the original quality standards.
Even thought dormer isn't cheap at all.
I've bought a die stock I was talking about few replies ago, for 30 euros or something like that, I was curious to see its retail price and it's about 110 euros or something like that.
Not even comparable with some old cosmos stuff I have but it is much better than cheap stuff.
I think I paid the right price for that
